Every UC Davis undergraduate student* is eligible to live on campus at The Green.

What You Can Expect on a Lease

Leases are available to Student Families & Single Graduate Students

Monthly Rent Payments

  • Orchard Park leases require monthly rent payments, allowing you to manage your finances conveniently. Please note that quarterly payments are not available.

Affordable Security Deposit

  • To secure your spot at Orchard Park, a $250 security deposit is required.

Lease Cancellation Option

  • We understand that circumstances may change. With an Orchard Park lease, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that if you need to leave school, you can cancel your lease. Review the terms of the lease for more details.

Housing Terms

  • Choose between two convenient housing terms: August 1 through July 22, 2026, or September 1 through August 22, 2026. This flexibility allows you to align your housing arrangements with your academic schedule.

With a Single Bed Lease, You Can Also Expect

Streamlined Leasing Process

  • After accepting a bed lease offer, you'll sign a lease for your floorplan and lease term, allowing you to plan ahead with confidence.

Roommate Compatibility

  • We understand the importance of finding roommate(s). After signing a bed lease, you'll have the opportunity to search for roommates and form a roommate group.

Inclusive Living Spaces

  • At Orchard Park, our apartments are gender non-specific, meaning we prioritize creating an inclusive and supportive community. Birth sex and gender identity are not factored into room assignments, empowering you to choose your roommates based on shared interests and values.

What You Can Expect on a Contract

Housing Contracts are available for Single Undergraduate Students

Quarterly Billing & Payments

  • Housing fees for Orchard Park contracts offer quarterly billing. This aligns with financial aid distribution, which makes it easier for students to apply any aid to their housing fees.

Meal Plan Options

  • Optional quarterly residential meal plans are available to contracted students. These are billed separately through your student account, like housing fees.

No Security Deposit

  • Security Deposits are not required for students on housing contracts.

Contract Cancellation Option

  • We understand that circumstances may change. With an Orchard Park contract, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that if you need to leave school, you can cancel your contract. Review the terms of the contract for more details.

Housing Terms

  • Contract dates align with the undergraduate academic year calendar and allow for year-round housing for students who renew their contracts the following year.

The Sage Street Market | Cafe serves hot and cold meals, snacks and delicious Peet's Coffee right in the middle of West Village.

Meal Plans

Choosing Orchard Park means you get to choose from three optional residential meal plans so you can eat on campus as little or often as you like!
